Finding QIPP (Quality, Innovation, Productivity, and Prevention) savings within the NHS can be an arduous task within an environment where there seems to be continual cuts to staff. Targets for NHS services can be as high as 10% of the annual budget, which is a tough ask for any leader to manage to those objectives, but with a few guided steps to provide direction and clarity on this agenda item, it may be easier than perceived. Within this article quick solutions towards cash release schemes are given to support this substantial requirement. Following these steps will enable a focus to provide the financial target to the betterment of the bottom line and efficiency to the service.
